Northeast Territory Sales Manager
Born and raised in Long Island, NY, Charlie has a bachelor degree in Horticulture and an MBA in Agricultural Economics. After 10 years of working in landscape, wholesale nursery, and retail garden center management, Charlie joined Espoma in 1987, where he has successfully grown his territory. Charlie resides in Watertown, CT with his wife Chris, and their three children: Jennifer, Joanna, and Andrew. He enjoys fishing, boating, gardening and carpentry / restoration, as well as volunteering with the Scouts and coaching sports.

Mike Huber
Mid-Atlantic Territory Sales Manager
Born and raised in Audubon PA, near Valley Forge National Park, Mike has been in the lawn and garden industry for over 23 years at the distributor level as well as the retail level. Prior to joining Espoma, he spent 16 successful years with Southern States Cooperative as dealer sales manager, supporting and servicing independent retailers in NJ, PA and DE. Mike has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Temple University.
Mike and his 3 sons Andrew, Daniel and Thomas live in the Philadelphia suburbs. Mike enjoys spending time with his family and attending his son’s sporting events ( baseball, hockey, soccer). He enjoys all outdoor activities and is an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Mike Lauro
North-Atlantic Territory Sales Manager
Mike is originally from Bronx, NY and raised most of his life in Trumbull, CT. Mike has been in the lawn & garden industry for over 10 years. Prior to joining Espoma Mike worked for Southern States Cooperative, Agway Farm & Home as a dealer sales manager and as regional product advisor with Bayer Crop Science covering Long Island, NJ, Eastern NY, & CT. Mike also has over 20 years in retail management for Ahold USA. Mike resides in Milford, CT with his wife Lisa and has 2 children Michael and Caitlin who have both graduated college and have successful careers. Mike loves to vacation at the Jersey Shore with his family. He enjoys playing golf and going to the beach. Mike’s hobbies include Baseball Memorabilia collecting and he is a Hess Truck collector. Mike favorite sports teams to watch are the New York Yankees and the UConn Huskies.

Bonnie Satterthwaite
Southeast Territory Sales Manager
Bonnie is originally from Savannah, Georgia and currently resides in Virginia Beach, VA. She has over 30 years of experience in the lawn and garden industry both wholesale and retail with a strong emphasis on employee training and consumer seminars. Prior to joining Espoma, Bonnie was a very successful sales representative for Wyatt Quarles, a lawn and garden distributor. She enjoys softball, gardening and international travel.

Jim Mosnot
Midwest Territory Sales Manager
Originally from Canton, Ohio Jim has enjoyed a successful career in sales, marketing, and management. Throughout his career he has lived in both California and New York working for prestigious companies such as Kraft and Pillsbury. He most recently worked in sales for Briggs and Stratton and the Toro Company. Jim currently resides in Portage Lakes-Akron, Ohio with his wife, Sherri. He has three sons, Derek, Matthew and Andrew. Jim enjoyed a long coaching career with all of his boys in football, basketball and baseball. When possible, he enjoys getting together with his sons and golfing with his favorite foursome. Jim also enjoys summer life on Portage Lakes and traveling with his wife.

Carla Daniels
Western Territory Sales Manager
A native Oregonian, Carla currently resides in Springfield, Or. She has a passion for organic gardening and an extensive background in lawn and garden that includes over 25 years combined experience in garden-retail management, purchasing and outside sales as a territory manager. Carla has two children, Avery and Greyson. She enjoys attending her daughter’s softball games, kayaking and anything outdoors in the great PNW.

Maureen Wright
South-Central Territory Sales Manager
Born in New York and has lived the last 20 years in Oklahoma. Maureen acquired a Bachelors degree from Rowan University and got her start in the lawn and garden industry 12 years ago when she became a Certified Master Gardener from Oklahoma State University. She is currently working on her ISA Arborist certification and has a passion for all things green. She has several years experience in both wholesale and retail sides of this industry with her most recent role being a Plant Specialist and Wholesale Sales Consultant for a large online nursery. You can find her on her horse, shooting nature photography or traveling to see family , when she isn’t growing food.

Shawn Shockey
Vice President of Sales
Born and raised outside western Pennsylvania, Shawn has been in lawn and garden industry for over 20 years including 12 here at Espoma.
Shawn and his wife Melissa, and their two daughters Sarah and Grace, live in Mullica Hill, NJ. During his tenure at United, the Shockey’s lived in TX and LA. Shawn is an Eagle Scout who subscribes to its oath, motto, and slogan, and when not spending time with the family enjoys all outdoor activities, including cycling and motor sports.

John Harrison
Vice President of Marketing
John grew up in the lawn & garden industry working at retail garden centers through high school and college. John joined Espoma in 1984 as a Territory Sales Representative and in 1988 was offered the opportunity to join our management team in Millville, NJ. John lives in southern New Jersey with his wife Madge and their perfect daughter Jill. His hobbies include home improvement projects, competitive swimming and gardening.

David Mountford
Senior Logistics Manager
David has been in the lawn & garden industry for 25 years working at the distributor level as well as the retail level before joining Espoma in 1989. His responsibilities are to handle the logistics, accounts receivable, dealer co-op advertising, as well as consumer customer service calls. David’s father Jerry had been our Mid-Atlantic salesman for nearly 20 years. David lives in South Jersey with his wife Robin two daughters Kelsey and Kaitlyn. In his spare time he enjoys vacationing with his family, gardening, listening to several types of music and is an avid Red Sox baseball fan.
