Espoma-Selling Superstar Spotlight! ⭐

At For Garden’s Sake in Durham, NC, Operations Manager Sharon Thies keeps a running post-it note tally of her Bio-tone Starter Plus sales. It’s a simple habit, but it shows the kind of pride and attention she brings to selling Espoma every day. That enthusiasm makes her a true Superstar.

WHAT’S NEW FOR 2027 🙌

This past spring, Jordan Brunner officially joined The Espoma Company as part of the marketing team, marking the entrance of the fifth generation into the family business. Prior to Espoma, Jordan worked as an Associate at JPMorgan, where she developed a strong analytical, data-driven approach that she now brings to marketing strategy and brand growth at Espoma.

This season brings 2 new exciting additions to the Espoma Organic lineup, plus a packaging refresh to drive cross-merchandising.

  • Houseplant Mix: A rich, lightweight organic soil blend enhanced with earthworm castings and mycorrhizae. Available in a convenient 8-quart bag it perfectly complements our Indoor! Houseplant Fertilizer.🪴
  • Citrus! Plant Food: This 8 oz. liquid concentrate returns, packed with natural proteins and beneficial microbes — a great add-on sale for tropical plants.🍋

Three customer favorites just got new options. 🆕 Berry-tone® adds an 8 lb. size, Earthworm Castings adds a new 16 qt. size to meet growing demand, and Turf-tone Lawn Starter’s new 6.75 lb. bag gives customers a true organic option for smaller lawn projects.

Watch as Laura from Garden Answer get her veggie garden growing, feeding around the roots of her tomatoes, peppers, and basil with Tomato-tone at planting time, then top-dressing the soil with Land & Sea Gourmet Compost. We also recommend Bio-tone Starter Plus at planting time to help new transplants settle in and grow strong roots.
