Ingredients:
This product is formulated from 25-35% Sphagnum Peat Moss, Aged Forest Products, Compost, Earthworm Castings, Limestone to Adjust pH, Alfalfa Meal, Kelp Meal, Feather Meal and Yucca Extract.

How to apply
For New Lawns or Repairing Bare Spots with Seed or Sod:
- Loosen the top one inch of soil with a metal rake
- Mix a one inch layer of Espoma Organic Lawn Soil and the appropriate amount of Lawn Starter fertilizer into the native soil
- Spread grass seed and lightly rake into amended soil
- If working with sod cut the sod to fit the area. If multiple pieces be sure there are no gaps between them. Walk on the sod or use a tool to tamp down ensuring soil to sod contact
- Water lightly and continue light frequent watering to ensure the area is evenly moist
- As grass emerges water less frequently with deep soaking
- Begin cutting when grass exceeds three inches in height
Overseeding Established Lawns:
- Mow the lawn closely and remove clippings
- Spread a 1/4 inch layer of Espoma Organic Lawn Soil over the lawn with a shovel and rake smooth
- Apply grass seed as directed on the label
- Water frequently until new grass becomes established
Top Dressing Established Lawns:
- Mow the lawn closely and remove clippings
- Spread a one-inch layer of Espoma Organic Lawn Soil over the entire lawn. Smooth out the soil with a garden rake
- Water thoroughly
